Ebb Therapeutics developed an innovative, new-to-market medical device to treat individuals with insomnia by helping them fall asleep faster.  With our recent FDA clearance and substantial Series B funding, we are currently seeking highly motivated, skilled, creative professionals to join our growing team as we prepare for commercial launch.  With millions of people suffering from insomnia, you would be a part of a talented group of individuals who are passionate about bringing new technologies and products to the market that help individuals with chronic sleep disorders live better and more productive lives.

Position Summary:

Ebb Therapeutics has an immediate need for a 
full time Regional Director of Sales that is interested in joining an organization at the ground floor.  The candidate should possess a documented history of building and managing successful sales organizations, while also possessing the necessary skill sets to develop new sales channels. 

Candidate must be a strong team player, agile learner, and self-motivated.  They must deliver the essential job responsibilities, but also have the drive and talent to grow the role and grow with the company.  Candidates should possess a demonstrated history of selling to physicians and key customers within the Healthcare Industry.  Key customers would include Sleep Labs, Sleep Specialists, Primary Care Physicians, Internists, Pulmonologists, and Psychiatrists.  Additionally, experience in developing business opportunities for Sleep Specialists and Physician Practices is a plus for this role. The successful candidate should consider themselves a great team leader and coach, who enjoys team building and developing people.  The candidate must also be confident and resourceful when faced with challenges related to a start-up company.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for working with existing sales and marketing organization to develop sales channel
  • Responsible to implement strategies to expand sales within geographic responsibility
  • Responsible for building sales organization in geographical area of responsibility
  • Responsible for development of sales plans, including quota assignments
  • Responsible for developing key customers and strategic channels
  • Responsible for participating in the successful execution of pilot studies
  • Responsible for accelerating the effectiveness of sales representatives by developing training programs and action plans for team members
  • Sell new treatment options into various medical disciplines
  • Capable of training business partners and customers on the correct use of products
  • Direct and Manage team in use of CRM system
  • PLEASE NOTE: Illinois, Texas and Missouri are the preferred locations, however other locations may be considered.
Work Environment
This job operates in a remote setting with significant travel. Expectations are that the candidate will maintain an office in their home.

Physical Demands
This is a largely a field role and will require some light lifting of products and product displays. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Some weekend work will be required as conferences and work-related meetings will require weekend participation

Travel
Greater than 70% travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience
  • BA or BS degree
  • 15+ years of sales in healthcare, preferable medical devices
  • 5+ Sales management experience
  • Demonstrated history of building sales teams
  • Demonstrated history of building sales plans including quotas
  • Excellent knowledge of selling processes and sales training methods
  • Experience calling on physicians in the sleep and insomnia space
  • Understanding CRM systems
  • History of developing and executing sales budgets
  • Demonstrated history of building strategic plans
  • Not required but a plus:
    • Clinical Practice Development
    • Sales and Marketing Directly to Patients
    • Introduction of new or novel products
    • Sleep Experience
